Unable to enter activation key when tapping Renew/Activate on your Mobile Security for iOS
You are unable to activate your Mobile Security because there are no boxes to enter an activation key and no transfer option when signing into Trend Micro account.
This happens when the Restriction settings is disabled. The Restriction prevents an unauthorized purchase on iOS devices. By default, it is turned off.
To resolve this issue, enable Restrictions on your iOS device. Do the following:
- On your iOS device, go to Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap Restrictions.
- Tap Enable Restrictions.
- Provide your Apple password.
Enabling Restrictions for the first time will turn on Restrictions for all applications. For Mobile Security activation, you need iTunes or AppStore Restrictions to be turned on.
- Sign out of your Mobile Security, then sign back in.
- Tap Renew / Activate, then enter the Activation Key.
