You receive "Unable to contact Trend Micro" error message from your Mobile Security app:


To resolve the issue, do the following:

Check your internet connection
  1. Make sure your device has an active Wi-Fi, 3G/4G/LTE connection and can browse online.
  2. Try activating again. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Restart your Internet connection
  1. Turn off your wifi or data connection.
  2. Wait for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
  3. Try activating again.
