False positive spam detection in Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) Advanced

Problem Description

Legitimate emails are falsely being detected as spam by the Messaging Security Agent (MSA) of WFBS. This happens to clients who did not load TMASE Anti-Spam Pattern 8606, which was released on December 25, 2011 at 10:11 PM (GMT +8).
 
Note: This article applies to WFBS Advanced only.

 

 

 

Solution

To resolve this issue, please update your Anti-Spam Pattern Files. Do the following:
  1. Log on to the WFBS console.
  2. Go to Updates > Manual.
  3. Uncheck Components and tick the Messaging Security Agent checkbox. You may also select all the components to update all the pattern files.
  4. Click Update Now.
    Note: To set the update schedule, go to Updates > Scheduled and then set the time when you want the product to perform automatic updates.
