Problem Description

This article shows you what to do when your Titanium program's Quick Scan stops at 98 percent while it is scanning Internet cookies.

Solution

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
  1. Open your Internet Explorer browser.
  2. Click Tools, then select Internet Options.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Click Delete, then click Delete All.
  5. Click Yes when you are prompted, then click OK.
  6. Do either of the following:
    • For Windows XP:
      1. Go to the C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder.
      2. Delete the contents of the folder.
    • For Windows Vista and Windows 7:
      1. Go to the C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files folder.
      2. Delete all the contents of the folder.
  7. Do either of the following:
    • For Windows XP: 
      • Go to Start > Run.
    • For Windows Vista and Windows 7: 
      • Click the Start button.
  8. Type "shell:cookies" in the Open or Start Searchfield, then press Enter.
    A window will open with the following locations:
    • Windows XP: 
      • C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Cookies
    • Windows Vista and Windows 7: 
      • C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies
  9. Delete the contents of the Cookies folder.
