Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac

  1. Look for the Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac icon at the menu bar.

  2. Open the Activity Monitor using the Spotlight option.

  3. Check for the following processes if they are present in the Activity Monitor:
    • Trend Micro Internet Security
    • Trend Micro Internet Security Quick Menu
    Trend Micro Processes
  4. Open the Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac main console and make sure there are no errors that appear.

Smart Surfing for Mac

  1. Look for the Trend Micro Smart Surfing icon at the menu bar.

  2. Open the Activity Monitor using the Spotlight option.

  3. Check for the following processes if they are present in the Activity Monitor:
    • TmLoginMgr
    • Trend Smart Surfing
    • Trend Smart Surfing Quick Menu
