I get an error message with the Error Code: (#0, 1001, 0x000) when I try to install or upgrade my Titanium program

Problem Description

This article shows you what to do when you get an error message with the following Error Code:

 

 

“#0, 1001, 0x000”

 

 

This appears when you try to install or upgrade your Titanium program.

Solution

This Error Code appears when you cancel an on-going uninstallation of any third-party software including Trend Micro Internet Security or other versions of Titanium. To resolve this, please follow the steps below:

 

1.

Log in to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.

 

 

 

Note: If you have installed software on your computer before, then you probably have these privileges.

 

 

2.

Uninstall the existing antivirus software:

3.

Download and install the repack build of your Titanium program. Click your program below to download your installer:

Titanium AntiVirus+ / Titanium Smart Surfing for PC

Titanium Internet Security

 

 

 

 

·

Titanium Maximum Security

 

 

4.

Click Save when the File Download window appears.

 

 

5.

Select Desktop as the location, then click Save.

 

 

6.

Double-click the installer on your desktop, then follow the prompts to install your program.
