Problem Description

This article shows you how to generate and collect debug information from your Mac computer.

Solution

To gather debug information:
  1. Open Trend Micro Debug Manager in OS X by going to /Library/Application Support/TrendMicro/Tools/Trend Micro Debug Manager.app.
  2. Click the lock to make changes.
    Edit the debug manager
  3. Enter the OS X user name and password and click OK.
    Enter your debug manager credentials
  4. Switch the status to ON.
    Turn on the debug manager
  5. When asked to clear existing data, click No.
    Do not clear existing data
  6. Reproduce the defect and click Collect Data. The logs will be zipped to your Desktop.
