Problem Description

This article shows you how to verify if your Trend Micro Titanium 2011 program has been installed on your computer.
Note: This article is applicable only to the following products:
  • Titanium Maximum Security
  • Titanium Internet Security
  • Titanium AntiVirus+ / Titanium Smart Surfing for PC

Solution

To check if your program was installed correctly, please follow the steps below:
  1. Check if there is a Trend Micro icon on the following locations:
    • Your desktop
    • Your system tray near your computer's clock
      Windows XP
      Windows Vista and Windows 7
      For Windows XP
      For Windows Vista and Windows 7
  2. Double-click either of the icons to open your program.
    An introductory window will appear.
  3. Click Closewhen you are done reading.
    Note: Tick Don't show this page again to stop the introductory window from appearing every time you open your program.

  4. Check if you can see the main console. You can access the different features of your program and configure its settings from here.
