“Too Many Installations” appears when activating my Titanium program

Problem Description

You receive the following error message when you activate your Titanium program:
"Too Many Installations"
This happens when you have installed the program too many times.

Why am I getting this message?

Your Titanium program can be installed on one (1) or three (3) computers depending on your license. This message appeared because you installed the software too many times.
Note: If you have a lot of computers, you can buy additional protection for them by clicking Make another purchase. You can also click Use another Serial Number if you already have another serial number handy.
  • You may also get this error message even if you installed the software on the same computer. Any of the following can trigger it:
  • Uninstalling an older version manually before installing the latest version of your program.
Reformatting your hard drive, then reinstalling the software multiple times

 

What can I do to resolve this issue?

Just follow the steps below to maintain your protection:

  1. Type your password in the Password field, then click Next.
    Too Many Installations
    Note: Click Forgot your password if you do not remember your password to retrieve a temporary one by email.
  2. Select the Computer Name you want to replace.
    By default, the Windows name of your computer will appear in the Computer Name field. To change the information, type a new Computer Name for this installation.
    Note: You can use any name or description you like, but make sure to select something different from the one you selected above.
    For example: My 2nd computer.
    Select Computer Name
  3. Click Next.
    A confirmation of your registration will appear.

  4. Click Finish.
    You have activated the protection of your computer.
