Problem Description

This article shows you how to remove the Trend Micro Titanium 2011 program that is installed on your computer.
The steps below applies to the following products:
  • Titanium AntiVirus+ / Titanium Smart Surfing for PC
  • Titanium Internet Security
  • Titanium Maximum Security

Solution

Important: We recommend that you print out this document or bookmark this page before proceeding because you will be asked to restart your computer during the procedure.
Use the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit to uninstall your program. Please follow the steps below:
  1. Open the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit by doing one of the steps below:
    • For Windows XP: Go to Start > All Programs > Trend Micro Titanium (version) > Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.

    • For Windows Vista and Windows 7: Windows Orb > All Programs > Trend Micro Titanium (version) > Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.

  2. Click the (C) Uninstall tab when the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit opens.
  3. Click 1. Uninstall Software.

  4. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the uninstallation.

  5. Wait while the program finishes uninstalling the product and its components.
  6. Click Yes when you are prompted to restart your computer.
