1.
|
On the computer that hosts the
Security Server,
stop the Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
|
|
|
|
|
|
If unable to stop the service, use
Task Manager or Process Explorer from Sysinternal to
stop the following processes.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
•
|
OfcService.exe
|
|
|
•
|
DbServer.exe
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Open a command prompt window and go
to the directory where the Security Server programs are
installed.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Example: C:\Program Files\Trend
Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Enter the command below:
|
|
|
|
|
|
SVRSVCSETUP -uninstall
|
|
|
|
|
|
This removes the Trend Micro
Security Server Master Service and the OfficeScan website.
|
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Disable sharing of the
..\PCCSRV folder.
|
|
|
|
|
|
a.
|
Go to the ..\Program
Files\Trend Micro\Security Server.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
b.
|
Right-click the PCCSRV
folder, then select Properties.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
c.
|
Under the
Sharing tab, select Do not share this
folder.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
d.
|
Click
Apply.
|
|
|
|
|
5.
|
Go to ..Program Files\Trend Micro\
and manually delete the Security Server directory.
|
|
|
|
|

|
From the Windows Start menu, delete
the program group Client Server Security for SMB:
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
Click Start >
Programs and then right-click Trend Micro
Client Server Security for SMB.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
b.
|
Select Delete.
|
|
|
|
|
7.
|
Manually delete the uninstall
information from the registry.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Important: Always create a backup
before modifying the registry. Incorrect registry changes may cause
serious issues. Should this occur, restore it by referring to the
"Restoring the Registry" Help topic in Regedit.exe or the
"Restoring a Registry Key" Help topic in Regedt32.exe.

Click Start >
Run.
|

Enter "regedit" and click
OK.

|
Delete the following registry
hive:

Server_<server_name>

Delete the Security Server shortcut
on your Desktop.
|
|
|

|
Open a browser and click
Tools > Internet Options.
|
|
|
|
|

|
Go to the General
tab and click Settings > View
Objects.
|
|
|
|
|
11.
|
Right-click each of these objects
and then click Remove:
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
Encrypt Class
|
|
|
•
|
Security Server Management
Console
|
|
|
|
|

system reboot.

|
Stop the following services:
|

Trend Micro Client/Server Agent
Listener
|
|
|
•
|
Trend Micro Client/Server Agent
Personal Firewall
|
|
|
•
|
Trend Micro Client/Server Agent
RealTime Scan
|
|
|
|
|
|
If unable to stop the service use
Task Manager or Process Explorer from Sysinternal to
stop the following processes:

TmListen.exe
|
|
|

|
Ntrtscan.exe
|
|
|

information in the registry:

|

Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services and delete the
following:

|
|
|
|
Note: Do not restart the
computer on this procedure when prompted.
|
|
|
|
|
|

On the desktop, right-click
My Computer and then select
Manage.

Click the Device
Manager and then right-click it again.

Click View >
Show hidden devices.

Double-click Non-Plug and
Play Drivers.
|
|
|
|

Right-click each of these devices
and click Uninstall:

Go to .Program files\Trend Micro\
and manually delete Client Server Security Agent directory.
|
|
|
|
|

|
From the Windows Start menu, delete
the program group Client Server Security for SMB.

Click Start >
Programs and then right-click Trend Micro
Client Server Security Agent.

|
|

|
Select Delete.
|

|
Clear the Windows %TEMP%
folder.
|

Restart the computer.
|
|
|
|

in manually uninstalling the Security Server and CSA.
