Learn how to activate and use the Trend Micro Toolbar feature of your Titanium program.

Titanium Maximum Security

Note: The steps below are applicable to all versions of Titanium Maximum Security (2011 to 2014).
  1. Open the main console of your Titanium program. Do any of the following:
    • Double-click the Trend Micro icon on your desktop.
      Desktop icon
    • Double-click the Trend Micro icon on your system tray.
      System tray icon
    • Click Start > Programs or All Programs > Trend Micro Titanium > Trend Micro Titanium.
  2. Click the Settings button.
    Click Settings
  3. Click Internet & Email Controls, then click Web Threats.
    Protection Settings
  4. Tick the following check boxes:
    • Block potentially dangerous websites
    • Display the Trend Micro Toolbar on supported web browsers
    • Prevent Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome from running malicious scripts on infected websites
  5. Click Apply, then click OK.
  6. Open your web browsers. You will now see the Trend Micro Toolbar.

Titanium Internet Security

Note: The steps below are applicable to all versions of Titanium Internet Security (2011 to 2014).
  1. Open the main console of your Titanium program. Do any of the following:
    • Double-click the Trend Micro icon on your desktop.

    • Double-click the Trend Micro icon on your system tray.

    • Click Start > Programs or All Programs > Trend Micro Titanium > Trend Micro Titanium.
  2. Click the Settings button.

Titanium AntiVirus+

Titanium AntiVirus+ 2014
The Trend Micro Toolbar is not available in Titanium AntiVirus+ 2014.
No toolbar
Though the toolbar is not available, Trend Micro’s browser component is still present and it can block unsafe websites.
