When you write a description of the issue you encountered for sending to Trend Micro Email Support, it is best if you can provide as many details as possible. This improves our engineers’ assessment and understanding of your issue, which can lead to a quicker resolution to the issue.

Below are some guidelines you can keep in mind while submitting a case online:
1.
Enumerate the actions you took before you encountered the issue. For example, you may have just installed a new software or hardware, or you may have applied a Windows Update.
2.
Describe what you have done to try and resolve the issue. For example, you may have uninstalled then reinstalled the program or followed the steps indicated on one of our Knowledge Base articles (in cases such as these, please identify the solution ID number).
3.
List the symptoms you are encountering. For instance, let us know if you are receiving several popup messages, or if your computer has slowed down after installing your Trend Micro program.
4.
If you encountered an error message, write down the exact message you encountered.
