To download updates for Trend Micro Internet Security 2010, please do the following:

1.

Make sure you are connected to the Internet.

Start the update by doing any of the following:

Open the program to bring up the main console, then click Update Now on the Overview screen.

Open the program to bring up the main console, go to Other Settings > Automatic Updates, then click Update Now.

Right-click on the Trend Micro icon in your system tray (in the lower right-hand corner of your screen, near your computer’s clock) and select Update Now from the menu that appears.

Wait while your program downloads the latest updates. The time this takes to finish depends on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the update.

Note: If your product is already up-to-date, you will get the notification “You now have the latest updates available.” Click OK to close the window.

The update progress window will automatically close when the update has been successfully downloaded and installed.

Important: If you see a message asking you to restart your computer, click Yes to restart the computer and complete the update.
