Retrieving a forgotten password for Trend Micro SafeSync account

Learn what to do when you cannot sign in to your Trend Micro SafeSync account because you forgot your password.

To retrieve your SafeSync password, follow the steps below:
  1. Open the Trend Micro SafeSync website.
  2. Click Sign In, and then click Forgot your password?.
    Forgot your password?
  3. Type your registered email address and the captcha charactes provided, and then click Retrieve.
  4. Check your email to retrieve your temporary password.
  5. Follow the instructions in the email to change your password.
  6. Sign in to your account with your new password at the Trend Micro SafeSync website.​
