Checking if you have the latest version of Trend Micro Security software installed

Know if you are running the latest version of your Trend Micro program, otherwise perform an upgrade.


To check if your program is up-to-date, do the following:

  1. Open the main console of your Trend Micro Security software. Do either of the following:
  2. On the main console, hover your mouse pointer on the program name located at the top left corner. This should display Version: 12.0.

If it doesn't match, you are probably running an older version of Trend Micro Security. You need to upgrade to the latest version.

Note: Upgrading is free if you have an existing valid license. If the license has expired, you have to purchase a renewal before upgrading.
