Scan hangs at 70% to 80%
When scanning using your Trend Micro Security, the full scan or quick scan hangs at 70% to 80%. It shows "Preparing to optimize" on any of the following:
- Finding Unprotected Passwords
- Finding Unneeded Files
- Seeking System Vulnerabilities
- Reviewing Startup Programs
- Checking for Privacy Concerns
To resolve the issue, manually update your Trend Micro Security program. Do any of the following:
