You receive the following error message when installing you Trend Micro Security software:
A problem prevented the installer from completely setting up Trend Micro Security.
(error code: #1603, 2023, 0x00000000)
No changes have been made to this computer."
This may happen when the Trend Micro Security installer failed to launch the framework service or if there are remnants of your old Trend Micro program on your computer.
The issue also occurs on the following error codes:
- #0, 1007, 0x00000000
- #1603, 3002, 0xe0120039
- #1603, 3002, 0xe022000a
To resolve the issue, do the following:
- Remove remnants of your old Trend Micro program
