Detected threat not deleted by Antivirus for Mac
Your Antivirus for Mac keeps on detecting a threat from an email attachment and does not delete it.
This issue happens because the default action for email attachments is set to Ignore, the file is not deleted, and is detected every scan.
To fix this problem, do the following:
- Manually delete the email message with the malicious attachment.
- Run a scan using Antivirus for Mac.
It is recommended to keep Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac running in the background. It will keep you safe by deleting the malicious attachment(s) if you open them and eliminate the need to manually delete them.
