WFBS 6.0 (without Service Pack) supports upgrades from any of the following versions:

Customers are recommended to use the latest version (as of this writing - WFBS 6.0 Service Pack 3), which is available in the Download Center. WFBS 6.0 Service Pack 3 can be used to fully install or upgrade the following products:

For older versions (CSM 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5), you can first uninstall the old version from the Server and the clients, and then install the latest version of WFBS (6.0 Service Pack 3). If uninstallation and reinstallation is not possible, below are the possible upgrade paths that you can take:

Upgrade of Messaging Security Agents (MSA) running on Exchange Server 5.5 clients

|
Upgrade of Client/Server Security Agents running on Windows 9x/ME/NT clients
