After successfully installing your Trend Micro Home and Home Office program, you will be able to view the current status of your protection from the program's main console. 


You will need to register your account with Trend Micro and perform an initial update and scan. For detailed instructions on how to do these, please click on the action you wish to perform from the options below:

Register or activate your subscription

Download the latest components

•

Run a scan to check for possible threats in your computer

Download the latest components

1.

 Open your Trend Micro program to bring up the main console then click Update Now.

Wait until it downloads the latest update available.


Newly detected components will be automatically downloaded on your computer or it will give you a message saying that you have the latest components installed.

Note: Your security software will take some time to install automatically after downloading the latest components. Once done, the update window will automatically close and return you to the main console window.

Run an initial scan

Open your Trend Micro program to bring up the main console then click  Scan Now.

The program will automatically start checking for threats on your computer.

When the scan completes, your computer will be protected from threats and will only require minimal interaction on your part for future system scans.
