To ensure a successful installation of your Trend Micro program, we strongly recommend following the steps below before you start installing your product:

1.
|
Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the program to install and run properly.
|
|
|
|
|
|
To see the list of system requirements, click on the product you want to install:

Check for and completely remove any conflicting programs that may be installed on your computer.
|
|
|
|
|
|
For instructions on how to do this (for Windows-based products only), please refer to solution EN-1035905 from our Knowledge Base.

|
|
Note: Make sure you completely remove all components of your previous security software. If you are unable to completely remove a conflicting program, refer to the product’s technical support website.

|
|
|

Prepare your serial number since you will need this during the installation.
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
If you bought the program online, your serial number is in your order confirmation email.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
If you bought it from a retail store, check the box inlay for the serial number.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
·
|
If you cannot find your serial number, refer to solution EN-1038047 for more information.

|
|
|
If you suspect you have a virus on your computer (e.g. you receive multiple popups), run HouseCall, our online scanner to try and remove it before installing your program.
|
|
|
|
When you are ready to install the program, you can get instructions on running the installation by viewing the Knowledge Base solutions or the Interactive Video Guides. To access these, click on the links associated with your product:
