I get the message “Too many installations” when I register or activate Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware

Problem Description

The “Too many installations” window keeps appearing when I try to register or activate Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware after doing either of the following:

    • Installed the program on more than one computer

    • Reformatted my computer and reinstalled the program

Solution

To resolve this, please follow the steps below:

 

1.

Type your Trend Micro password on the password field.

 

 

 

Note: Click Forgot your password if you do not remember your password. A new one will be sent to you.

 

 

2.

Click Next.

 

 

 

A confirmation of your successful registration will appear.

 

 

 

Note: Contact Technical Support via Chat and prepare your serial number if you can no longer access your registered email address.
