Problem Description

This issue can happen when during Patch or Service Pack installation, you chose not to update the firewall driver. When you do not update the firewall driver, the tmtdi.sys is also not updated.

Solution

You need to verify if you have the latest tmtdi.sys version. Kindly follow these steps:

1.

Go to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder.

2.

Right-click on the folder and then go to Properties > Version tab.

If the file version is lower than 3.3.0.1031, the TMTDI.SYS is not updated.

To resolve this, you need to install a new patch or service pack. You may also reinstall the latest patch for OfficeScan 8.0. Make sure to update the firewall driver during the patch/service pack installation.
