Registration process for Worry Free Business Security (WFBS) Advanced purchased via Online Store / eCommerce - For users with existing Online Registration accounts

Problem Description

   

The WFBS Advanced bundle you purchased includes two components:

 

WFBS Advanced Software Component

Hosted Email Security (HES) - Inbound Filtering

 

In your order email confirmation, you received a single Registration Key (RK) that needs to be registered to obtain 2 Activation Codes (ACs). This procedure provides the steps to complete the registration process, and activate WFBS Advanced.

Solution

     

To register WFBS Advanced, please do the following:

   

1.

Go to Online Registration.

   

2.

Log on to your account.

   
 

   

3.

Click Register New Product/Add Seat.

   

4.

Enter the RK to begin the registration process.

   
 

Note: Make sure to have the domain name, IP address and number of users ready for registration.

   
 

   

5.

Click Next.

   

6.

Accept the License Terms.

   
 

   

7.

Confirm the following Product Information:

   
 

Registration Key

 

Product Name

 

Version type

 

Language

 

License Start Date

 

Maintenance End Date

   
 

   

8.

Generate the AC. The Activation Code screen appears.
   
  If you will use the HES service, you need to activate your domain. To do this, follow the steps below:
   
 

a.

Log on to any of these sites using your Online Registration Account.

   

 

        • For US and other regions: https://us.emailsec.trendmicro.com/

    • For EMEA region: https://emailsec.trendmicro.eu/
     
     
  b. Add your domain and click Submit to process your activation request.
     
     
  c. Wait for the confirmation email notification for HES.
     
     
  This email informs you that you will receive another email within approximately 24-48 hours, with the information for redirecting the MX record to HES - Inbound Filtering.
