I cannot download Trend Micro Internet Security for Dell using the Trend Micro Dell product downloader

Problem Description

Using the program installer from the link provided in the confirmation email results in either a failed download or failed installation. How do I download an alternate installer?

Solution

To download the alternate installer file for Trend Micro Internet Security for Dell onto your computer desktop, please follow the steps below:

 

1.

Download the installer file.

   
 

Note: The installer works with Windows XP and both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7.

   

2.

Click Save when the File Download window opens.

 

The Save As window will appear.

   

3.

Select Desktop on the left pane as the location for the download, then click Save.

A window showing your progress as the installer is downloaded onto your computer will appear.

   

4.

Click Run on the Download Complete window to start the installation or go to your desktop and double-click the downloaded file.

   

5.

Install the program.
