To use the OfficeScan Server Migration Tool, please do the following:

1.

Copy the ServerMigrationTool.zip and extract the contents to any folder on the OfficeScan 7.3 or 8.x server.
|
|
|
|
|

|
Double-click the ServerMigrationTool.exe file.
|
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Specify the destination folder.
|
|
|
|
|
5.
|
Click Export. The message “Successfully exported” will appear.
|
|
|
|
|
6.
|
Install a new Officescan 10 server on a different machine.
|
|
|
|
|
7.
|
Update the OfficeScan components.
|
|
|
|
|
8.
|
Copy the ServerMigrationTool.zip and the exported data file to the new OfficeScan 10 server.
|
|
|
|
|
|
The default file name for the exported data file is OsceMigrate.zip.
|
|
|
|
|
9.
|
Extract the contents of the ServerMigrationTool.zip file.
|
|
|
|
|
10.
|
Double-click the ServerMigrationTool.exe file.
|
|
|
|
|
11.
|
Locate the exported data file.
|
|
|
|
|
12.
|
Click Import. The message “Successfully imported” will appear.
|
|
|
|
|
13.
|
Log on to the OfficeScan web console.
|
|
|
|
|
14.
|
Verify the following:
|
|
|
|
|
|
o
|
All domains, domain-level settings and global settings
|
|
|
o
|
Manual, Real-time, Scheduled, and Scan now scan settings
|
|
|
o
|
Validity of the “Quarantine directory” under the Action tab for the new OfficeScan server.
|
|
|
|
|
15.
|
Move the clients from the old OfficeScan 7.3 or 8.x server to the new OfficeScan 10 server.

|
|
|
