Uninstall your older Trend Micro program using the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit. When asked to take note of your serial number, write it down since you will be using it when you install the new program.

|
2.

Download and run the installer by clicking your Windows operating system below:
|
|
|
|
|
|
Note: For Windows Vista or Windows 7, click here to check if you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit version.

|
|
|

Read the License Agreement, then select I accept the terms of the license agreement.

Click Next.
|

On the Install Options window, select Regular Installation (recommended) to install the program with the recommended settings, then click Next.
|

|
|
|
6.
|
Wait for the installation to finish. This may take a few minutes.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Once the installation finishes, you will see a window with your registration details and a message that your protection has been activated.
|
|
|
|
|

Click Finish.
|
|
|
|
|
8.

Run an initial update and scan. You can do this by following the steps below:

Open your Trend Micro program by double-clicking the Trend Micro icon on your desktop or in your system tray near your computer's clock.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Windows Vista and Windows 7

Click Update Now once the program has opened.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
Wait for it to finish, then click Scan Now.
