Product/VersionPlatform
InterScan Web Security Suite - 3.0 Linux, 3.1 Linux
Linux - Red Hat - RHEL 3 32-bit, RHEL 4 32-bit, RHEL 5 32-bit, Linux - SuSE - version 10

Problem Description

You have set the action for the corrupted_zip parameter to "pass" in the [Scan-configuration] section in the intscan.ini file. However, IWSS continues to log the corrupted_zip_file events in the log file and send them to Control Manager (TMCM).

Solution

To resolve this issue, please do the following:

1.

Look for and open the intscan.ini file using a text editor.

2.

Look for the "[http]" section and add the following parameter under it:

"skipSpecificVirus=Corrupted_Zip_file"

3.

Restart the IWSS daemon.
