Enabling or disabling the Smart Scan function in Worry Free Business Security (WFBS)

Problem Description

This article shows you how to enable and disable Smart Scan function in the Security Server web console.

Solution

Please do the following:

1. Log on to the WFBS console.

2. Go to Preferences > Global Settings > Desktop/Server tab.

3. Under General Scan Settings section, do one of the following: 

    • Check Disable Smart Scan Service to switch all clients to Conventional Scan mode. Smart scan will not be available until it is enabled again.

    • Uncheck Disable Smart Scan Service to enable the function in clients.

4. Click Save.


Related Information:
Smart Scan service is not available in the Live Status page of the WFBS console
