Problem Description

I want to install Trend Micro Internet Security 2010. Where can I find the installer file, and how can I download it onto my computer?

Solution

Note: If you have a CD for your program and want to use it, just insert the disc into your drive, run the installer, and follow the instructions that appear. If you do not have or want to use a CD, please read on.

 

For instructions on downloading the Trend Micro Internet Security 2010 installer file, refer to the steps below:

 

1.

Download the installer file by clicking on your operating system from the list below. Save the file onto your desktop.

 

 

 

 

Note: For instructions on finding out whether you are using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows, refer to solution EN-1038409 for Windows Vista and EN-1054432 for Windows 7. This product does not support the 64-bit version of Windows XP at this time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

·         32-bit version of Windows XP, Vista, or 7

 

 

 

·         64-bit version of Windows Vista or 7

 

 

 

The File Download window will appear.

 

 

2.

Click Save. This will bring up the Save As window.

 

 

3.

Select Desktop from the left pane as the location so you can easily access the file, then click Save.

 

 

 

 

 

4.

Wait while the file is downloaded onto your computer. How long this takes depends on the speed of your Internet connection.

 

 

5.

Once done, run the installer file.

 

 

 

 

To run the installer file, do either of the following:

 

 

 

 

 

 

·         On the Download Complete window, click Run.

 

 

 

·         Go to your computer’s desktop and double-click on the file you downloaded.
