Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware 2010 can only be installed on one (1) computer. For instructions on how to download and install it, please do the following:

1.

Download the installer file by clicking on your operating system from the list below. Save the file onto your desktop.

Note: For instructions on finding out whether you are using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows, refer to solution EN-1038409 for Windows Vista and EN-1054432 for Windows 7. This product does not support the 64-bit version of Windows XP at this time.

·        Windows XP

·        Windows Vista or 7 (32-bit)

·        Windows Vista or 7 (64-bit)

If you are not sure how to download the installer, see the instructions below:

a.

From the options above, click on the operating system you are running.

b.

On the File Download window, click Save.

c.

When the Save As window appears, select Desktop from the left pane as the location then click Save.

Wait until the download is complete.

Run the installer file.

To do this, do either of the following:

On the Download Complete window, click Run.

·   

Go to your desktop and double-click on the installer file.

Wait while contents are extracted and the setup program checks that your computer meets the program’s system requirements.

4.

Read the License Agreement, select I accept the terms, then click Next.

5.

When prompted, type your serial number into the field provided, then click Next.

Note: Your serial number can be found in your Order Confirmation email if you purchased the product online, or you can find it inside the box or packet if you bought this at a retail store.

6.

Start the installation by selecting Regular Installation (which will use the recommended settings) then clicking Next. The setup program will display the progress of the installation.

7.

Wait for the installation to finish. This may take a few minutes.

8.

Once done, activate your subscription.

If you are connected to the Internet when the program modules finish activating, you will automatically be asked to register your account. If not, you will need to trigger the activation manually.

9.

Run an initial update and scan.

For instructions on how to do this, click on the action you wish to perform:

Update your computer [solution EN-1054431]

Run a full system scan [solution EN-1054475]
