The 2006 and 2007 versions of PC-cillin Internet Security have passed their end-of-life and/or end-of-support dates. To make sure your system is still protected from online threats, upgrade to Trend Micro Internet Security 2010.

Important: The upgrade is free if your subscription is current, but you will need to renew your license if it has expired.
|
|
|
|
Please do the following to upgrade your program to the newest version:
|
|
|
|
1.

Take note of your serial number since this will be used to register your subscription.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Note: If your PC-cillin Internet Security 2006 serial number begins with PXXP, wherein X represents any letter, you have a multi-user license and should first find out if you are eligible for the upgrade.
|

|
|
|
|
2.
|
Make sure your computer meets the program’s minimum system requirements; otherwise, the program may not be able to run or install properly.
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Uninstall the program.
For instructions on how to do this, refer to Knowledge Base solution EN-1037161.

4.
|
Download and install Trend Micro Internet Security 2010.
For instructions on how to do this, refer to solution EN-1054410.

|
|
|
For PC-cillin Internet Security 2006 Multi-User License Holders:
|
|
|
|
|
If you registered your product with a multi-user license, you will need to check if you are eligible for an upgrade.
|
|
|
|
|
|
To do this, prepare your Maintenance Agreement or Order Confirmation Letter (if you received one), then contact Trend Micro Consumer Technical Support.
|
|
|
|
|
|
If your license was provided by your company, contact your System Administrator or your Human Resources department for more information. They will contact the appropriate reseller or account manager for your upgrade.
