I have Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 14 or 14.7 for Dell currently installed on my computer, and I need help in completely uninstalling it. How can I do this?

You can uninstall the program using the Support Tool (PCCTool). To do this, please follow the instructions below:

1.

Close the PC-cillin Internet Security main console if it is open. If not, proceed to the next step.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Go to My Computer > Local Disk C:.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Go to the C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Internet Security 14 folder.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Double-click on the PCCTool.exe file to start it up. This file uses a capsule-and-lifesaver icon.
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|

5.
|
When the Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security window appears, go to the [E] Uninstall tab.
|

|
|
|
|
|
6.
|
Under the Install and Uninstall section, click 4. Uninstall.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
7.
|
When you see the confirmation dialog box, click Uninstall.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
8.
|
Wait while the program is completely removed from your system.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
9.
|
When the uninstallation finishes and you see a dialog box asking you whether you want to restart now or later, click Yes to restart your computer.
|

|
|
|
|

Note: PC-cillin Internet Security 14 or 14.7 for Dell have reached its end of life. To better protect your system from the latest threats on the Internet, Trend Micro recommends upgrading to the latest version which is Trend Micro Internet Security for 16.6 for Dell.
