Renewing your Trend Micro program subscription online

Problem Description

This article shows you how to purchase a renewal online using any of the following:
  • Trend Micro program
  • Trend Micro website
  • Trend Micro My Account website

Solution

To renew your subscription, click the method you want to use:
Renew using your Trend Micro program
  1. Connect to the Internet.
  2. Double-click the Trend Micro icon on your desktop or in your system tray to open the main console of your Trend Micro program.
  3. Do either of the following:
    • For your older Trend Micro program (2010 version and below):
      1. Click Other Settings & Subscription.
      2. Click Subscription in the right pane, then click Renew Now.
    • For your Titanium program:
      1. Click the expiration date in the Subscription section.
      2. Click Renew Now.
        You will be directed to the purchase website.
  4. Select any of the following renewal options:
    • 12-month renewal
    • 24-month renewal
  5. Click Buy Now.
    You will see the Shopping Cart page with a list of your purchases.
  6. Click Check Out to confirm your purchase.
  7. Type your information on the fields provided in the Billing & Payment Information page.
  8. Read the End User License Agreement, then click Place Secure Order.
    A page will appear to confirm your successful purchase.
    You will receive an Order Confirmation email.
    Your subscription should be extended within 24 to 48 hours.
Renew using the Trend Micro website
  1. Connect to the Internet.
  2. Go to the Trend Micro website.
  3. Move your mouse over Shop in the upper-right corner of the page, then select Renew Online.
  4. Type the serial number that you want to renew, then click Submit.
  5. Select any of the following renewal options:
    • 12-month renewal
    • 24-month renewal
  6. Click Buy Now.
    You will see the Shopping Cart page with a list of your purchases.
  7. Click Check Out to confirm your purchase.
  8. Type your information on the fields provided in the Billing & Payment Information page.
  9. Read the End User License Agreement, then click Place Secure Order.
    A page will appear to confirm your successful purchase.
    You will receive an Order Confirmation email.
    Your subscription should be extended within 24 to 48 hours.
Renew using the Trend Micro My Account page
  1. Connect to the Internet.
  2. Go to the Trend Micro My Account page.
  3. Type the email address you used to register your program and you're my Account password, then click Sign In.
  4. You will see your program subscriptions.
  5. Click Renewbeside the program you want to renew.
    A Security warning window will appear.
  6. Click Yes to go to the purchase website.
  7. Select any of the following renewal options:
    • 12-month renewal
    • 24-month renewal
  8. Click Buy Now.
  9. You will see the Shopping Cart page with a list of your purchases.
  10. Click Check Out to confirm your purchase.
  11. Type your information on the fields provided in the Billing & Payment Information page.
  12. Read the End User License Agreement, then click Place Secure Order.
    A page will appear to confirm your successful purchase.
    You will receive an Order Confirmation email.
    Your subscription should be extended within 24 to 48 hours.
