To reinstall your Trend Micro Internet Security for Dell, please follow the steps below:

1.

Run the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit to completely remove your program’s components. To do this, follow the steps below:
|

|
|
|
|

|
Click on your Windows version below, then click Run:
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|

Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit)
|

|
|

Windows Vista or Windows 7 (64-bit)

The Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit will appear.

Click the Uninstall tab.
|

Click 1. Uninstall Software.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
When prompted to take note of your serial number, write it down. You will need this when you install the program later.
|

|
|
|
|
|

Tick I have finished writing down my serial number, then click Next.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
f.
|
Click Uninstall.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
g.
|
When prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.
|
|
|
|

|

The changes will now take effect.

Once you log back in, install your Trend Micro Internet Security for Dell by following the steps below:

Download and run the Trend Micro Internet Security for Dell installer.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
b.
|
Click Save.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
c.
|
Select Desktop as the location, then click Save.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
d.
|
Once the download finishes, click Run.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The contents of the installer file will be extracted and the setup program will verify if your computer meets the program’s system requirements.

|
|

Read the License Agreement, then select I accept the terms of the license agreement.
|

Click Next.
|

|
|

When prompted, type your serial number on the field provided, then click Next.

Select Regular Installation, then click Next.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
After the installation finishes, you will see a confirmation of your registration.

Click Finish.
|

Your program is now installed. Double-click the Trend Micro icon on your desktop or in your system tray beside your computer’s clock.

|

Click Update Now.
|
|
|
|
|
5.
|
After updating your program, click Scan Now.
|
|
|
|

Your Trend Micro Internet Security for Dell is now fully set.
