Please follow the instructions below:

1.

Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2009 to install and run properly.

2.

Run the installer.

·  

If you have a CD, insert the disk and click Install program when the appropriate window appears.

·  

If you do not have a CD, download the installer file to your desktop then run it by doing the following:

a.

Click on the version of Windows you are running to download the appropriate file:

o         

Windows XP or Windows Vista 32-bit

o         

Windows Vista 64-bit

Note: To find out whether you are running Windows Vista 32-bit or 64-bit, refer to solution EN-1038409. The 64-bit version of Windows XP is not available for this product at this time.

b.

When the File Download window appears, click Save. This will open the Save As window.

c.

Select Desktop from the left pane as the location for the download, and then click Save.

d.

Wait for the download to complete then run the file by either going to your desktop and clicking on it or by clicking Run on the Download Complete window.

e.

Wait while the installer unpacks the file’s contents.

3.

Wait while the installer checks that your computer meets the system requirements.

4.

Read the License Agreement, then select I accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next.

5.

When prompted, type in your serial number and click Next.

6.

On the Install Options window, select Regular Installation to install the program with the recommended settings then click Next.

7.

Wait while the installation completes.

8.

Click Activate Now, and then wait for the various modules to be activated.

9.

Make sure you are connected to the Internet by the time all the modules are activated to have the program automatically prompt you to register or activate your subscription.

For instructions on how to activate your subscription, click on the computer you are installing the program on:

First or primary computer

·

Second or third (secondary) computer

10.

Run an initial update and scan on your computer, although these processes will be done by your program automatically in the future.
