Problem Description

While scanning files, the progress bar might make a calculation that divides by zero, causing the software to crash.

Hot Fix Overview

Hot fix – build 1440 prevents a possible crash with Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2009, Trend Micro Internet Security 2009, and Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware 2009. For solutions to related issues and other versions, refer to the Related Information section of this article.

To resolve the issue:

1.

Click here to download the hot fix to your computer.

2.

On the File Download window, click Save. The Save As window appears.

3.

Click Desktop as the location and click Save.

4.

Double-click tis_1700_win_en_hfb1440.exe to start extracting the contents of the hot fix.

5.

Read the license agreement and then click I accept the terms of the legal agreement.

6.

Click Next to start the installation.

7.

Click Install.

8.

Click Yes when asked to update your security software.

9.

Click OK to finish the installation.
