What should I do if I receive an email saying my product has reached its end of life or end of support?

If you still have a valid subscription, all you need to do is upgrade to the 2010 version of your program.

If your license has expired, you will need to purchase an upgrade from the online store or from a retail store near you.

Note: If you are not sure whether your subscription is current or expired, you can check your license expiry date on the Program Information page of your main console.

How can I tell if the end-of-life email I received is legitimate?

The email notifying you of your product’s approaching end of life is legitimate if it was sent from info@newsletters.trendmicro.com.

If you receive this email from a different source, the message you got is probably not legitimate. Please verify this by sending a copy of the email to Trend Micro Technical Support.

Do the 2010 products support Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows 7?

While Windows 7 is supported by the latest versions of Trend Micro Home and Home Office products, this is not true for Windows 95, 98, 2000, or Millennium Edition (ME). If you are running any of these unsupported systems, you will need to upgrade to Windows XP (at least Service Pack 2), Windows Vista, or Windows 7.
