SMLD 3.x and 5 can support the latest Domino release 8.5.3. Below are the details:

SMD 3.x Compatibility Version

Lotus Domino : R8, R8.0.1, R8.0.2, R8.5.1, R8.5.3 (All Domino is 32bit)
OS Platform:
  • RHEL 5, 5.1, 6.0, 6.1
  • RHEL 5, 5.1, 6.0, 6.1 x64
  • SuSE 10, 11
  • SuSE 10 x64, 11 x64
  • Solaris 10
  • AIX 5.2, 5.3, 6.1
  • i5/OS V5R4, V6R1, V7R1
To support the latest Domino release 8.5.3, you have to apply any of the applicable patch or hot fix indicated below:
  • ScanMail for Lotus Domino 3 EN AIX Patch 4, Build 3678
  • ScanMail for Lotus Domino 3 EN Solaris Critical Patch Build 3752
  • ScanMail for Lotus Domino 3 EN i5/OS Patch 7 Build 5708 ·
  • Scanmail for Lotus Domino 3.1 does NOT support CMAgent on RHEL 6
To support the latest Domino release 9.0, ScanMail for Lotus Domino 3 EN i5/OS Patch 7 Build 5708.

Trend Micro released SMLD 5 to support the following platforms only: Windows, AIX 64bit, SLES 64bit for system Z, and RHEL 64bit for system Z.
To support Windows 2012,you have to apply 5 EN Windows Patch6, Build 3182.
To support the latest Domino release 9.0, you have to apply the following  patches: ScanMail for Lotus Domino 5 EN Windows Patch6, Build 3182 and ScanMail for Lotus Domino (SMLD) for AIX Patch2 B3183 released.

 

SMLD 5.5 Compatibility Version

Lotus Domino: R8.0.1 32/64bit, R8.0.2 32/64bit, R8.5.1 32/64bit, R8.5.2 32/64bit, R8.5.3 32/64bit, R9.0.4 32/64bit

Currently SMLD 5.5 only released the 32-bit version for Linux platforms. To support 64-bit Domino, please wait for the release of SMLD 5.6, which is scheduled in 3Q 2013.
To support Windows 2012, you have to apply 5.5 EN Windows Patch1 , Build 3144
To support the latest Domino release 9.0, you have to apply the following patches: ScanMail for Lotus Domino 5.5 EN Windows Patch1, Build 3144 and ScanMail for Lotus Domino (SMLD) for Linux Patch 1 B3145.
