Problem Description

After a fresh installation of WFBS, you cannot open the console or access its tabs. Even if you manage to access the selected tab, it unexpectedly stalls or the error message Page cannot be displayed appears.

Solution

To resolve the issue, please recreate the virtual websites by doing the following:

1. On the Security Server, open the IIS Manager.

2. Delete the OfficeScan virtual website and then close the IIS Manager.

3. Open a command prompt.

Note: For Windows 2008 and Vista, make sure that you are running in admistrator mode.

4. Run the following command to change directory to ..\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV:

        cd c:\program files\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV\

5. Type each command and press Enter:

        svrsvcsetup.exe -setvirdir
        svrsvcsetup.exe -setprivilege
        svrsvcsetup.exe -enablessl (if using SSL)

6. Close the command prompt, then open IIS Manager.

7. Check if the OfficeScan virtual website was recreated.

8. Select the “OfficeScan” website and select ISAPI Filters in the main window.

9. Under the Actions section, click Add.

10. Type "ReverseProxy" in the Filter Name field.

11. Click Browse and find ..\PCCSRV\Web_console\CGI\ReverseProxy.dll.

12. Click Open to assign the value in step 10 for the Executable field.

13. Save the changes and access the WFBS console.

If the procedure fails, send the following to Trend Micro Technical Support:

    - Case Diagnostic Test (CDT) logs generated on the WFBS server
    - copy of IIS log

For IIS 7: This is ..\Inetpub\wwwroot\logfiles\W3SVCnumber\exyymmdd.log

       where:

"number" = The site ID for the Smart Scan website
"yymmdd" = The date the log files is created/modified
