The public HouseCall Server 6.6 has been patched. Hot fix - build 1285 patches HouseCall 6.6 installations to prevent exposing internal users from this vulnerability.

To resolve the issue:

Request the HouseCall 6.6 Hot Fix Build 1285 file from Trend Micro Technical Support.

For Premium Support Program (PSP) clients, contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM) directly.

Important: This hot fix package requires 10MB of disk space for installation.

Windows

1.

Stop the Trend Micro HouseCall Server 6.6 service.

2.

Copy the following files from the extracted hot fix to the <INSTALLPATH>\server\webapps\housecall\applet\html\native\x86\win32\activex\ folder:

•

hcImpl.cab

•

implementation.js

•

implementation.xml

3.

Start the Trend Micro HouseCall Server 6.6 service.

4.

Update your scan engine and virus pattern files.

Linux

1.

Log in as root.

2.

Stop the HouseCall service by running the command:

/etc/init.d/housecall66 stop

3.

Copy the following files from the extracted hot fix to the <INSTALLPATH>/server/webapps/housecall/applet/html/native/x86/win32/activex/ folder:

•

hcImpl.cab

•

implementation.js

•

implementation.xml

4.

Start the HouseCall sevice by running the command:

/etc/init.d/housecall66 start

5.

Update your scan engine and virus pattern files.
