You can uninstall the program via the PCCTool, Start Menu, or Control Panel. For instructions on how to use each method, please click on the appropriate option:

Important: This product has passed its end-of-life and end-of-support dates. For better performance and protection, we recommend upgrading to Trend Micro Internet Security 16.6 for Dell, which is the latest version of your program. This is free to install as long as your subscription has not yet expired.

Using the PCCTool
|
|
|
|
|
To uninstall the program using the Support Tool, follow the steps below:
|
|
|
|
|
|
1.
|
Go to the C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Internet Security 2005\ directory.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Double-click on the PCCTool.exe file to start it up.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
When the Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security window appears, go to the [E] Uninstall tab.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4.
|
When you see the confirmation dialog box, click Uninstall.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
5.
|
Wait while the program is completely removed from your system.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
6.
|
When the uninstallation finishes and you see a dialog box asking you whether you want to restart now or later, click Yes to restart your computer and have the changes take effect immediately or No to restart and have the changes take effect at a later time.

|
|
|
|

|

To uninstall the program from the Start Menu, follow the steps below:

Click Start > Programs > Trend Micro PC-cillin > Uninstall.

When the Windows Installer dialog box appears, click Yes to proceed with the uninstallation.

When the uninstallation finishes and you see a dialog box asking you whether you want to restart now or later, click Yes to restart your computer and have the changes take effect immediately or No to restart and have the changes take effect at a later time.

To uninstall the program from the Control Panel, follow the steps below:

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.

|

Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
When window showing you a list of applications installed on your system appears, select Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security and click Remove.

|
|
|
|
